The Aguirre family’s dedication to sustainable farming really comes through in the cup—this Bourbon is clean, sweet, and incredibly balanced. I’ve brewed it both as pour-over and espresso, and it held up beautifully either way, which isn’t something I can say for most single-origins.

The Bourbon varietal is a nice change of pace from the typical Caturra I usually brew, and you can tell the Aguirres’ long-term focus pays off in the cup. Only took off a star because the beans arrived a bit darker than my usual preference, though the flavor still held up well.
